| The Hiscox Public Officials Liability Insurance policy provides coverage for Public Entities for claims made against the entity, elected or appointed officials, employees and volunteers for wrongful acts committed by these individuals in the performance of duties for the public entity. Coverage for claims alleging wrongful employment practices violations is also included.
Coverage
Hiscox provides coverage for backwages, discrimination, wrongful termination, defense for non-monetary claims, issuance or denial of permits and licenses, and EPLI coverage extended to law enforcement/fire fighting personnel. Defense may be offered outside and equal to the limit of liability not to exceed the $10M limit.
