Erica Zidel started Sitty Around to help solve this problem, by creating babysitting cooperatives within communties. Erica discovered these types of services can save families over $500 per year.
Motivated by the lack of innovation in the child care industry, Erica hopes to make a difference in the dilemma. Her largest challenge was the decision to bootstrap her startup; rather than pursuing investor funding or loans, working a second job to increase her cash flow.
